Darfur

I think that the governments of both China and Sudan are in the wrong here. I think that China is being greedy for not wanting one of their major oil supply countries to stop supplying them but to let thousands of innocent people die because of it is increibly selfish. I think that it is also a major crime for the Sudanese government to basically promote/fund the janjaweed just so they dont have to accually go to war and the ethnic cleansing that they want still takes place. They said in the movie that we watched during school that this was not the first time the Sudanese government had done this and I think that it is bad for the international community to let them get away with it over and over again. Also I think that the janjaweed themself are evil for gladly killing thousands and raping even more innocent lives. I think that eventhough Chad has been negativly affected they have still been kink enough to set up multiple refuge camps. Also I think that who's ever idea that it was not to call this massacure a genocide is partially to blame because that just stalled efforts to help the victims, but also even if it was not a genocide if people are getting killed and raped in mass quantities in such a short period of time the international community should do something about it!
