Diversity

There is much cultural diversity in Austin. It seems like everywhere you go someone from a different background is there or someone of a different religion. The main populations other than white is Mexican and African American and Asian. There are many Mexicans in Austin because we are in Texas and Texas borders Mexico so we probably are one of the top states, Mexican population wise. In school there is dominantly white but there are probably 10% Black, 4% Asian, and 10% Mexican. Also there are few Muslim people. The U.S. promotes diverse populations because of the fact that we allow freedom of religion and i think that that probably attracts citizens from around the world that would usually not come to the US. I think that the US is one of the more diverse nations in the world.
